Mango Rasam made with Raw Mango without Garlic is a simple must try Summer Recipe. This can also be consumed as Soup. Please do try this recipe and let me know the taste in the Comments Section below embarassed

  • Raw Mango Paste – 1 Cup (can be made from 1 Small Mango)
  • Chopped Coriander – 1/2 Cup
  • Aijwan Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Powder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
  • Crushed Pepper – As needed
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
  • Water – 350 ml (increase the quantity for more thin consistency)
  • Salt – As needed
  • For Tempering:
    • Curry Leaves
    • Mustard
    • Urad Dal
    • Oil
    • Cumin
    • Hing

Step by Step Instructions for

How to make Mango Rasam


Step 1

Prepare tadka / tampering, add curry leaves and sauté once; add hing and sauté once.

Step 2

Add Raw Mango Paste (thin paste), mix well. Add chopped Coriander and mix well. While the Paste is boiling, add aijwan powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, crushed pepper and stir well.

Step 3

Add Turmeric, Red Chilli Powder, Salt and mix well; let it fry for a minute, this gives a nice aroma.

Step 4

Add Water and mix well; let it boil for 5 mins by stirring occasionally. Once it is boiled, Serve Hot.
